Editorial policy
Local Daily Bulletin aims to publish clear, careful material about shared places and local resources. We distinguish general explanation from claims that need local confirmation and correct the record when we find an error.
Accuracy and sourcing
We check factual statements against suitable information before publication and take care with dates, names and descriptions. Where a topic depends on local arrangements, the wording should make that limit clear rather than imply a universal answer. We do not present unsourced assumptions as established fact.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. A paid placement or other partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Partnerships do not guarantee favourable coverage, and editorial judgement remains separate from commercial arrangements.
Corrections
If a reader spots a possible error, they can send details through the Contact page. We review the point, check it against the available information and amend published material when warranted. Significant changes should be identified clearly enough that readers can understand what was corrected.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Illustrations are not evidence for factual claims, and we aim to avoid images that could be mistaken for documentary photographs of a real local event or place.
